Tips to Define Own Way

Have you ever thought that you just did not get your way? Think about it. At work you do a few task but you never get the recognition that You so richly deserve. You work your fingers to the bone but somehow you are always overlooked. It is your way or the high way. For example, every year you pick the vacation spot and no one else has a say.

Is it really about you? Honestly, does everything have to be done your way? Do you think that you know what is best for everyone?

If you answered yes to any or all of these questions then it is not too late. Besides having a Scrooge encounter with three ghosts there is a better way of finding the better choices.

"The Purpose Drive Life" is truly a handbook for the modern man and woman. Today, our very culture has been streamlined to the point of the "Me Attitude." We have been hyped to the point that we do not think of ourselves and that we should.

Guess what? That is the wrong attitude to have and if you look closer to our children you will see that they have become a more focused version of "Me" than you are. Does that scare you? It should.

Unfortunately, the media, entertainment industry and marketing have pushed this new attitude on all of us and we have become brainwashed into thinking that it is okay. Well, it is not okay. At some point in time, you may feel rejected or discarded and you will wonder why no one cares. This is why.

So I recommend that Rick Warrens book "The Purpose Drive Life" become your next reading material. It is well written and it is a far cry from boredom. You will quickly see your own life within the pages which will captivate you.
